On the way home...

I made a quick trip to Ruby, Alaska to meet with one of our community partners in the Alaska Swallow Monitoring Network. Though the trip was quick, I enjoyed seeing the small town on the Yukon full of life. Ruby is much further west into the interior and only accessible by boat or air; when traveling it's easy to see how remote much of Alaska is to the rest of the world.
